हमारा देश विश्व में दुग्ध उत्पादन में प्रथम स्थान पर है स मेडिकल रिसर्च कौंसिल के अनुसार प्रति दिन प्रति व्यक्ति 280 मि० ली० दूध उपलब्ध होना चाहिए स देश की बढती हुई जनसँख्या को देखते हुए अभी और दुग्ध उत्पादन की आवश्यकता हैस डेयरी प्रौद्योगिकी को अपनाने के निम्नलिखित बिंदु को ध्यान मे रखना चाहिए
- स्थानीय बाजार एवं कृषि संस्थान से उन्नत नस्ल के दुधारू पशु को क्रय करना चाहिए
- पशु चिकित्सा अस्पताल, पशु रोग निदान प्रयोगशाला के संपर्क में रहना चाहिए
- स्थानीय बाजार में दूध के स्थान पर दुग्ध पदार्थ बेचना चाहिए

तकनीक की विशेषता
जनपद में कम भार एवं वंशागत कम उत्पादन क्षमता वाली देशी बकरियों को
बरबरी बकरे द्वारा नस्ल सुधार । नस्ल सुधार द्वारा प्राप्त बच्चों का औसत शरीर भार 15-ंउचय20 किग्रा एवं 1.5 से 2.0 ली0 दुग्ध उत्पादन प्रति बकरी।

Sri Yadav starting integrated fish farming after achieving technical knowledge. He has 3 ponds area 1 ha. and .4 ha as a nursery pond. 250 layer Ducks, 31 Emus, 3 Cows, 2 Buffalos, 1 Gobergas Plant, 35 Papaya Plants, 45 Banana Plants, 4 Anola Plants, 25 Mango Plants and .2 ha Vegetables through out the Year, 1 Motercycle, 1 Diesel Pumping set and 1 Electric Tube well Etc.

Income from fish ponds 85 qt. Fish and 73000 eggs annually. He getting Rupees 45000 per month additional income from Fish and Duck Farming.His socio economic status is recognized as a Progressive Farmers. He builds a new house and better education of Son and daughter.

He has 26 adult miltching cross breed Cows, 1 Bull, 8 Calf and heifer. For Fodder Production he has 4 acre land on leached basis 2 Bhusha godown, 1 Pumping Set, 1 Power chaff cutter, 1 Motercycle and 6 Milking kan with 150 Ltr. Capacity. He builds a Pakka House.
Effect on Socio Economic Status
He supplied 325 Lt. Milk per day regular supply in the district headquarters. He recognized as progressive dairy farmer in the district, monthly income is 58 thousand rupees per month net profit. After this income he built double story pakka house and purchase 10 cross breed Cows.

Success Story of Farm Women - 5
Smt. Saroj Shukla, Village - Sicta Ganesh pur Basti
This is the story of farm woman Smt. Saroj shukla living in village Sicta Ganeshpur, Basti. The village is situated at 10km. from the district headquarters on the Babhanan road. The family was facing an economical crisis due to their irregular income through out, One day she came in contact with KVK Home scientists who were in the village for training. She expressed her concern over her poor economical condition. She was told about the various enterprises for self-employment and generating extra income. Since she had some knowledge of fruit preservation, she joined the vocational training programme on fruit preservation being imparted by KVK, Basti. After completing the course, she constructed a preservation unit in the backyard of her house with the help of the KVK. In January 2010, she stared the unit by the KVK to help scientist. After four months, she started earning of Rs. 250-300/- per day by selling prickle, murabba, candy etc. She provide 6-7 additional women in her enterprise. She introduce AG Achar as a trade mark shop in the village & district. At present she is earning additional income of Rs. 8,000 to 9,000/- per month. Hopefully, she will earn more money in the future and set an example for other rural women.
